Rocky Coate & Associates sells and services the independent lawn and garden accounts in Florida.
We call on the volume independent garden dealers; our goal is to establish up to 40 new dealers the first year (depending on the line, and current distribution). Results oriented retail coverage includes the top independent garden centers, landscape supply dealers, water garden dealers, statuary dealers, stoneyards, and Pinch-A-Penny. We can introduce your new products to over 600 garden centers through direct mail.

We multiply our sales efforts through displaying at major regional trade shows: FNATS, TPIE, PINCH-A-PENNY and FLORIDA HARDWARE (yes- we do offer shared booth participation).

COMPANY HISTORY AND OBJECTIVES

Rocky Coate & Associates was created in 1977 with the goal of creating additional profits for all we serve: manufacturers and customers.    We work closely with our manufacturers to achieve rapid distribution, placement, and promotion of our products.  We accomplish this through target account planning, key item promotion, and other market strategies.  Many of our manufacturers increase their sales 30% and more their first year with us.

Another important motive behind our objectives is the type of principals we represent:

a) We specialize in lawn and garden and handle items that are aligned with the trade we sell to.

b) We limit the number of principals we represent. We strive to do an excellent all-around selling job for those we represent.
